In a couple of weeks I'm taking part in the Pretty Muddy 5k with some friends from work in support of Cancer Research UK.  More info here: http://raceforlife.cancerresearchuk.org/types-of-event/pretty-muddy/index.html 

Now I know 5k isn't far to run but its going to be VERY muddy and those of you who know me well will know that I'm not a fan of mud!!  I decided that if I raise some sponsorship there is no way of me changing my mind - I'll have to do it!  

So, if you could spare a couple of pounds for a great cause it would be very much appreciated and keep me motivated while I'm wading through the mud!  

Sadly 1 in 2 of us will develop cancer at some point in our lifetime.  Any money that you donate will be used to fund vital research in to improving treatments and survival rates, moving us one step closer to the day when all cancers can be cured.
