Every day in the UK, another 240 people wake up to the catastrophic impact of a stroke. The Stroke Association is the leading charity in the UK providing lifelong support for all stroke survivors and their families.

<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><span style="color: #000080;">12/01/2011</span></span></p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><span style="color: #000080;">Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.</span></span></p> <p>&nbsp;Here we go again,&nbsp;just&nbsp;94 days now&nbsp;to go and I'm training in earnest because I would very much like to beat my 2008 time of 3 hrs 52 minutes and would also like to raise at least &pound;1,000 for the stroke association.Most of us&nbsp;know someone who has suffered a stroke&nbsp;, we lost a work colleague at Xmas 2009 and there is a group that are regulars at my gym and it makes me feel humble to watch their grit &amp; determination.</p> <p>As usual I will be training on Guinness by replacing every 2 miles of sweat with 1 pint of the creamy liquid.</p> <p>Check back to see how training's going</p> <p>Please dig deep and donate as much as you can now.</p>
