My story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
This year I'm going to be taking part in the Great Manchester Run for the first time. Despite my protests to team-mates and my complete inability to run fast, I've been challenged to complete the race in under 50 mins. I know this is slow for some of you, but believe me this will be a challenge!
All donations will be going to Warrington Disability Partnership in aid of the 21st anniversary of Disability Awareness Day (DAD) on 15 July 2012 at Walton Hall and Gardens.
This event is just one of many fundraising events being held by Warrington Disability Partnership for the 'Going the Extra Mile Challenge’. Other events include: - Scuba, swimming, kayaking, Walking, Dog walking, cycling and many, many more events.

Warrington Disability Partnership is a charity that aims to help remove the social barriers faced by disabled people, their families or carers and to support their independence throughout work and life. It offers disabled people services from: help and advice on Direct Payments to finding gainful employment, showrooms with the latest enabling equipment, free wheelchair loans, Sports Leisure & Recreation, a town centre Shopmobility scheme, opportunities to volunteer, a 'Discover IT' suite, an accessible holiday home in North Wales to even offering free day trips on our wheelchair accessible narrow boat 'Wizard'!
