Here I am, 4 days before my first sponsored event in over 10 years !!

I am doing a Triathlon, yes you did read correctly, a triathlon. It's a Sprint Triathlon, consisting of a 400 metre swim, followed by a 20 km cycle and then a 5km run. I have done training and am nervously looking forward to it.

I have decided on a charity call Through The Roof, and specifically raising money for their Wheels 4Haiti appeal. Following the horrific injuries sustained during the Earthquake in January, there were many people left immobile.

Wheels for the World is the overseas programme of Through the Roof, restoring and distributing refurbished wheelchairs, giving them increased independence.
