Story
FINISHED: Completed the ride successfully. My thanks to Emilio and the Cuban team for their humour, support and expertise and to my other 22 riding colleagues (especially Malcolm my 'roomy' and the joyous Spurs supporters (the 'other Geoff' and Mark) who managed to watch the magnificent defeat of Arsenal live in our Trinidad hotel.
Oh and get well soon Anna : )
Keep up to date with my progress and news on the re-planned trip in November 2010, all the way through to the end of the adventure on www.itmusthavebeenlateorsomething.blogspot.com
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
In the last few years my company has given money to lots of good causes, but that was easy. When a friend, who could hardly climb 3 flights of stairs, told me they were going to attempt the 3 Peaks Challenge in 3 months time I was shocked at their self-belief (or was that their sheer dumb determination). Well she did it and it made me feel lazy so in 2010 I'm giving money AND taking up a challenge.
The cause is very close to my heart and the future for my girls, so will you take the first step of helping me reach my fundraising target, or even go all the way and join me on the ride and fundraising?
I know Christmas (the build-up and the financial aftermath) will occupy people's minds for a while but hopefully 2010 will be a great year for you and an even better year for those struggling with Muscular Dystrophy.
Oh and don't worry, your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please donate; no amount too big or too small.
