Catharine Brown is raising money for TAG
In memory of Geoff Whittaker
Donations cannot currently be made to this page
At The Arthrogryposis Group we are able to offer local level support to people living with Arthrogryposis Muliplex Congenita (AMC) or one of the 200 related conditions. We provide regular information and updates on care and treatment, and through our events we give excellent opportunities to meet others with arthrogryposis, their families and anyone involved in their care.

Story

Just to say a massive thank you to everyone who has given to Geoff's memorial. It is fantastic to see something positive come out of his death. We've beaten our target of £2500 - THANK YOU! - but we will keep the site going for a while yet in case you still want to give. Although the funding for this year's camp is now secure, the charity will use any further amounts to fund its other work, which includes providing information to families who have just found out their child has arthrogryposis, and holding a conference for clinicians involved in the condition. TAG is a very small charity which needs every penny. Thanks again, Catharine, Aug 10th

Hi everyone I can't believe that on the eve of Geoff's funeral we have raised so much money for TAG. Thank you so much, Geoff would have been proud of your generosity. If you are new to this site, thanks for visiting and for your donation - here's hoping we get to our total of £2500. Catharine

This page is to help us do some good from Geoff's tragic death. He was actively involved in TAG, The Arthrogryposis Group, which helps people who have the same condition as Geoff's brother, Kev.  You can find out more about them at www.tagonline.org.uk.

Please consider donating instead of bringing flowers to the funeral, or for any other reason! If we can raise £2,500 we can help fund the annual children's camp. Geoff and Susan both helped on these camps, which Kev organises,  where disabled children go on a week's holiday, giving them a fantastic time and their family some respite. The charity receives some funding for these camps, from a trust fund and from parents' contributions - but they are short by £2500 for this year's camp.

Please give whatever you can, including gift aid if you pay tax, and do please leave a message too.

Thanks
