I'm going! Off to Malawi during February next year for an unknown number of months. I'm setting up a database and reporting system to support the nurses and midwives in Malawi. With one of the highest rates of infant mortality in the world Malawi and VSO have been building better structures for the mid-wives. This includes man-power, processes, training and clinics.

The computer system is to support this effort

I don't have time to host an event during this short time so I'm asking friends to sponsor me and VSO in this great campaign. I have to raise £1,500 which will help support me and other volunteers

Its long been a dream to volunteer overseas and now all of a sudden here I am! I wont be assigned a project until June/July so I dont even know where I'm going yet but the time will rush forward

VSO are a charity and need money to support me and all the other volunteers. I'm hosting a quiz night at my local cricket club on 5th May and will think of other ideas - long bike ride for instance

I'll keep the site updated as I get closer to send off
