Hi all, thanks for visiting the page.
So, last weekend we attempted to climb the tallest mountains in England, Scotland and Wales respectively, all in 24 hours. For those who don't know, these are Scafell Pike (England), Ben Nevis (Scotland) and Snowdon (Wales).
A post-challenge update:
We did all three peaks in 28 hours and 15 mins in the end... having climbed the last two peaks with a sore quadricep (very painful). With some training beforehand and a little more experience we could have made it in the 24 hours - but hey there's always next time!!!!
Despite not completing all three in the 24 hours, I hope you will agree that conquering all three in a weekend is still a great achievement. If you haven't already donated, we are hoping be to raise money to fund research in to a rare genetic disorder called Chronic Granulomatous Disorder which affects my partner's cousin. The charity is the Chronic Granulomatous Disorder Research Trust.
If you could spare a couple of quid for this good cause then please donate*.
Cheers
George
