Story
Hello, me again...
Thanks for taking a moment to look at my JustGiving page. In June 2014 a team of around 50 Leeds Uni students are cycling from the university steps to the Brandenburg Gate in central Berlin, through 3 countries, 8 days and nearly 600 miles!
The trip will be long and tough and legs and bums will become sore. Luckily we're doing it for a brilliant cause.
The Laura Crane Youth Cancer Trust are a small, Huddersfield-based charity that are unique in their support for young people dealing with cancer. They began as a research fund which specifically looks into types of cancer that are prevalent in young people, which is the only charity nationally with this focus. They also support young people in the West Yorkshire area who are undergoing treatment for cancer, and this support is incredibly important for those who, for example, may be spending Christmases and birthdays in hospital, and not at home with their families where they should be.
Last year's trip went a bit pear-shaped with the horrible weather conditions, so come 2014 I am giving this another crack, and I'm determined to finish!!
Please support me, the team, and the Laura Crane Youth Cancer Trust by donating any amount of money to them on this page. It's quick and easy to register, and if you donate enough, you can claim Gift Aid for free which is an awesome bonus!!
Cheers! xxx
