Story

  • On 4th June after Common Entrance has finished, I will be going on a 30 mile unsupported 3 day walk in Snowdonia. I am walking with 13 friends (aged 13) and 12 Fathers, 1 Mother and our Headmaster.  We will be walking about 30 miles across the most challenging range of mountains in Snowdonia during which we will ascend and descend 3 mountains whilst carrying 15-20kg rucksacks with all of our tents, cooking equipment, sleeping bags, food etc
  • We are all raising money for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF). This charity aims to find a cure for Type 1 diabetes but in the meantime helps young people, like our friend who was recently diagnosed and is one of the Walkers, manage their diabetes everyday.
  • This will be a really tough challenge for me.  Dad is walking too so I hope he will be ok.  We hope the weather is good.  If you are able to sponsor me that is very kind and much appreciated.  Thank you!
