Hi everyone, 

Just a short note about how this challenge came about. I was approached by Terry Lace who is the manager of Covers builders merchants in Burgess Hill and he was asked to put a team together for this challenge by a colleague at Chichester. We've scratched an elite team together, all over the age of 45 and all a bit shell shocked about the task ahead , it seemed like a good idea at the time. Any way we've worked out a strict training regime and I plan to keep a video diary of our escapades and blisters and you can share in our pain.

Covers have generously paid the registration fee of £195 for the team so all we need is you good people to donate funds towards this challenge and charity.
