Myself, George and Martin have been thinking for quite some time to run together a long distance race and after many setbacks we have finally found a time and a venue suitable to all 3 of us: Portugal Marathon and Half Marathon. Given the long distance and our general lack of fitness these days we have decided to put our efforts into some good use by asking you to support us for a good cause. We chose the Aplastic Anaemia Trust in the UK. It is a relatively unknown disease, at least it was to me until I had to get acquainted with it last year when my 3-year old nephew was diagnosed with it. Without being too dramatic, it is quite a serious condition which requires blood transfusions every 2 weeks. We are convinced that our efforts and contributions will go towards research that will improve the living conditions and chances of survival for the sufferers in the UK and abroad… Thank you for visiting this page and for your kind donation.
