Story
I am running the London Marathon 2020 for The Wooden Spoon Charity because I want to raise money for disadvantaged and disabled children.
Thanks so much for visiting my justgiving page. I’m running my first ever marathon for the Wooden Spoon Charity this year and I would like to share with you some background on why I’m raising money for this wonderful charity.
It all started just over 6 short months ago when I started a new career at FedEx. These last months have been a great learning curve for me, offering me again many more new opportunities and experiences. I have always had a passion to contribute towards charities, especially ones that inspire me like The Wooden Spoon which is FedEx sponsored charity.
All my life I have the good fortune to experience many great things through opportunities which I have taken for granted, now it’s time give something back. The Wooden Spoon charity is an amazing charity as it allows disadvantaged and disabled children to be given the opportunities I have experienced.
I have always played sport but I have never been a great runner, so I was glad to take on this amazing new challenge by running the 2020 London FedEx Marathon which is something completely out of my comfort zone, 26 miles of road running!!
My goal is to raise £1,500 for this amazing charity. Thank you for taking the time to read my donation page. Please share with family and friends, this would be hugely appreciated.
Thank you again.
