The race is now just over 2 weeks away now and as it's something I have always wanted to do and I am looking forward to pushing myself through the 26.2 miles to the finish!</p> <p>This year I am raising money for a charity called Contact a Family. Contact a Family provides support, advice and information for families with disabled children, no matter what their condition or disability.</p> <p>Did you know that:</p> <p>1 in 7 families with a disabled child goes without food</p> <p>1 in 4 families go without heating</p> <p>and 1 in 4 families are split up because of the feeling of isolation</p> <p>Contact a Family's vision is that all families with disabled children are empowered to live the lives they choose to live, and achieve their full potential, for themselves, for the communities they live in and for society.</p> <p>All money raised is thoroughly appreciated no matter how little :) so please feel free to donate!
