The Good Foundation is the UK branch of the Russ Foundation, the Indian charity that I visited in 2004/2005, and who I am returning to for a three month stint as a volunteer from November 2009.

The charity runs an orphanage for girls, as well as a host of other local initiatives in Tamil Nadu, South India, including working with sufferers of HIV/AIDS and sex workers.

Although I am investing my time with the charity over the next few months, I can offer them little financially. I would love to be able to present them with a small amount donated by my friends and family in the UK to help them to "serve the deserving".
