Three Peaks Challenge in 24hr · 29 August 2019

5.4 million children across the world are currently trapped in orphanages – even though 80% of them have family they could live with if they had the right support. Orphanages harm children, depriving them of love and exposing them to abuse. Your support helps us get children to back to family.

Story

On the 29th August eight of us are attempting the Three Peaks Challenge in 24hrs. We will be climbing the three highest mountains in England, Scotland and Wales to raise money for our respective charities. Our climb will start at Ben Nevis, then we make our way down to Scafell Pike and finally finishing at Snowdon.

I have chosen to raise money for Hope and Homes for Children. This charity works to re-home orphaned children and get them out of institutions and into families around the world.

Please donate generously as Brit match £2 to every £1 I raise for this very worthwhile cause.

Members of the team are Saskia Glaisher, Freya Semken, Jolie Cripps, Georgia Drew, Tom Bailey, Billy Ayres, Tom Atkinson and Tom Laliberte. Links to each of their donations pages for their chosen charities are below.
