The Marsden March 2017 · 19 March 2017 ·
I can't believe it's been a year since I last created a page for this event!
Anyway... I figure, if I can do (or 'did') the distance at 20 weeks pregnant and with super painful SPD, I can do it again a year on...
Anyone that knows the newest addition to our family will know that Isabella is a 'Velcro baby' (aka: will not be put down EVER!) so, much like last year, I'll be carrying her - only, in the sling this time, the whole way round...
I suspect this isn't going to be overly comfortable as she's much bigger than the 20 week fetus she was this time last year but cancer patients don't have the choice about their daily discomfort/ pain so it'll add to the meaning of the day.
I know lots and lots of you sponsored me last year and I'm truly grateful but ask that you consider doing it again this year. I know life is expensive but literally, every pound counts.
We never know what the year ahead holds. Hopefully, and God willing, none of us or our loved ones will need the services that the Marsden so graciously and vitally provide day in day out, but let's do this for those who will. Lets work together to keep the research going, the services running and the treatments provided.
I'll do the physical and uncomfortable bit. Please help me with the sponsorship bit.
I wasn't going to do this this year with two little ones but have decided to a bit last minute so have less than a week to raise the funds - the march is THIS coming SUNDAY!
The charity requests a minimum donation of £150 so I'm hoping to do that and some... Please help raise £200 for the Royal Marsden and all they do.
Thank you 😘
