We are going to run the New Forest Half Marathon to raise money for Mvumi School in Tanzania where we are going to teach on our gap year. The school relies on donations from the UK for day to day running so any donations will really make a difference.

  A Half Marathon may not seem that great a distance but for two people whose sporting peak was the 3rds hockey we feel its a realistic challenge! Since booking in for the run in May we have been squeezing in as much training in between cramming for A levels and have both really started to enjoy the running now.

  All the money we manage to raise will be given directly to the school and will not be funding our gap year so please give as much as you can for this really worthwhile cause. We've attached links below so please check out the school for further information about where your money will be going.

Thanks to everyone for all their support we both managed to survive the Half Marathon and finished around the 2hr15mark which was well under our estimated time of 4hours so we were very pleased! Please do check out the photos we have uploaded of the race.
