Flora London Marathon 2006 · 23 April 2006 ·

We care for children & young people with life-threatening conditions across Cambs, Essex, Norfolk & Suffolk and support their families. This can be at home, in hospital or at one of three hospices at Milton, The Treehouse and The Nook. We rely on voluntary donations for the majority of our income.

Story

Hi, my name is Georgia and I was born 13 weeks premature, weighing only 1lb 4ozs (580g).This led to me being on  life support 7 times before I was 18 months old. This left me with Cerebral Palsy and Severe Chronic Lung Disease.  When I was 18 months old the Doctors at Great Ormond Street said, I wouldn’t make it to 3 years old. With the help from the nurses at Quidenham Children’s Hospices (EACH) I have made it to the grand old age of 6 and go to Toftwood Infant School, so my dad (Michael Lyons) is going to run the London Marathon for EACH East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices.
