Brain Tumour UK has merged with The Brain Tumour Charity to become the UK's largest dedicated brain tumour charity. We fund research and offer support and information to those affected whilst raising awareness and influencing policy.

Story

Georgie was a beautiful, lively, creative, energetic, funny and caring twelve year old whose time was cut short by the cruel fate of having a brain tumour. By contributing here, you can help improve treatment to save other children, parents, brothers, friends, grand parents and relatives from the same anguish and heart ache we have all suffered as a result of Georgie being taken from us.

Georgie was first diagnosed when he was just twenty-two months old, and he underwent extensive surgery and chemotherapy for eighteen months. He was incredibly brave, strong and resourceful, and this allowed him to lead life to the full at school, at sport and with his friends and family. Cruelly, eight years after finishing treatment, the disease came back. Over his remaining two years, despite several operations, radiotherapy, chemotherapy and other treatments, Georgie never let his hardship affect his good spirits, his optimism, his love of life and his beautiful sense of humour.

We know all of you will miss him greatly, and we hope that his spirit will live on in your hearts and in your actions - the first of which is to help find even more effective treatments to help other children here and around the world.
