Sheffield Half Marathon 2013 · 12 May 2013 ·

We are dedicated to improving the quality of life and chances of survival for young cancer patients aged 13-24. We fund and build specialist units in NHS hospitals and provide dedicated staff, bringing young people together so they can be treated by teenage cancer experts in the best place for them.

Story

I am running the Sheffield half marathon and Bristol 10k to raise money and awareness for the Teenage Cancer Trust South West Appeal.

The Teenage Cancer Trust help to improve the day to day lives of those 18-24year olds living with cancer. Unfortunately Ella never got to experience the full benefit of their services, but she would have wished that all their future patients be treated in specially designed treatment units that meet the needs of young adults. With your donations they will be able to build these, and we will hopefully have our very own Teenage Cancer Unit here in Bristol in 2014.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
