I am doing a sponsored Morecambe Cross bay walk from Hest Bank to Grange Over Sands with my friend Jen to raise money for The Gambian Schools Trust. The work they do for Nursery School Education in The Gambia is invaluable to all involved. Jen & I spent 9 weeks working at The Blue Water Nursery School in Kumbija teaching 2 1/2 to 7 year olds. We taught basic Maths, English, Jolly Phonics, (which Gambian Schools Trust introduced to their schools & is slowly filtering out to others as well) as well as doing fun arts & crafts.
