I have lost my father, my father-in-law, my grandmother, my grand uncle, my uncles, my cousin , some great friends and most recently my dear mother-in-law to Cancer. 

Extensive ongoing research has greatly improved survival rates over the last 10 years. Outcomes are getting better, but research requires money... lots of money.

Your chances of survival can be greatly improved by:

• Listening to your body;
• Promising yourself a full medical every 3 years;
• Insisting on a chest X-ray; 
• Ensuring you have private medical insurance;
• Surrounding yourself with total positivity;
• Never ever giving up.

I plan to row 5km (in less than 30 mins) on 10th Dec 2016 to raise funds as part of the FFS Stand up to Cancer 50K fund raising initiative. Any support you would like to give me would be amazing and greatly appreciated I am sure by those less fortunate than I.
