On 14th May 2016 a team of close friends and I will embark on a grueling 44 mile walk across London, starting in Crystal Palace moving clockwise around to Charlton via every Premier league and Championship stadium in Central London. The walk is expected to take around 16.5 hours and will be completed in one day, with us aiming to start at around 4.30am and hopefully finish by 9pm.

Crystal Palace, Chelsea, Fulham, Brentford, QRP, Arsenal, Spurs, West Ham, Charlton.

We are undertaking this walk on behalf of my 3 year old daughter Ellie's SDR Journey. Ellie has Hemiplegic Cerebal Palsy as a result of a stroke in the womb. Ellie's Hemiplegia means that her muscles are constantly tight on the right side of her body and causes her foot to turn in severely, making walking difficult for her. We are hoping to raise £65,000 for her to have an operation in the St Louis Children's hospital in the US which would massively change her life. The operation is not available on the NHS but would reduce the spasticity (muscle tightness) in her leg which would allow her to do a lot of things that she is currently unable to do such as jumping, walking down stairs, riding a bike, keeping up with her friends and maintaining balance when walking. The operation would also limit long term health implications as she grows such as the development of contractures and joint and bone issues.
