Story
As many of you are aware my young nephew was diagnosed with a Osteosarcoma a rare type of bone cancer on Christmas Eve 2013. He has been through so much since then including extensive surgery to remove his hip and most of his femur then reconstruction with the fitting of a prosthesis. He now learning to walk again. Despite all this Matthew remains positive and is determined to kick cancers butt! The TCT unit at Yorkhill Hospital is scheduled to close and TCT have launched an appeal to raise funds to build a new unit at the Southern General Hospital. These units are a godsend for teenagers with cancer.
