Corrieyairack Challenge 2013 · 6 July 2013 ·

Speyside Trust based at Badaguish Cairngorm Outdoor Centre is a small independent charity helping children and adults with special needs, learning or multiple disability enjoy 24-hour respite care and outdoor holidays in the Cairngorms National Park.

Story

This year Cameron turns 18 and Douglas turns 16.  It's the first time we will be able to take part in an endurance event as a team. We decided to take part in the Corrieyairack Challenge Duathlon - we'll run the 14 miles (ascending 800metres) from Fort Augustus over the Corrieyairack Pass then pick up our bikes for the 40 mile cycle to Badaguish, near Aviemore.  I've told the boys that I am there to guide them through the event - in reality I need them there to tow me the remaining miles once overwhelming fatigue kicks in.  Please sponsor us to raise as much money as possible for the Badaguish Centre in Strathspey.
