Hi! I'm Ghadeer, a fast-walker and a bit of a slow runner, but I'm getting better! I've been inspired to run by many people, in real life and on the internet. Running has given me so much and I decided that it was time I did my share of giving!

During the 2012 Virgin London marathon I read a few beautiful and moving stories, people running for causes, people running to raise awareness. And I decided that I wanted to run the Virgin London marathon in 2013. The experience seemed to be phenomenal!

Looking at causes I wanted to run for, I saw many that had great visions, messages and goals. And then I saw Merlin and saw the work they did, and I contacted them asking to run the marathon as a member of their team and to fundraise for them. They help all those people that I wished I could personally help, they touch so many lives in the best possible way and I wanted to be a part of that.

They accepted my application and here I am, running for a great charity. But before I can run, I want to raise funds for them, and although I have a goal fundraising amount I really hope to exceed that and help them as much as I can!
