Well I did it! Sadly I didn't manage to achieve my target time but eventually completed the Marathon in 3hrs 53mins. I did however discover after that I had run with shin splints (very painful) which made me feel slightly better in a strange kind of way! For those interested I do still have to go to the pub dressed as a woman!

Thank-you so much to all who have supported me and sponsored me so generously. That is what kept me going. I have managed to raise another £300 pounds on top of this amount which is fantastic.

Fiona says she'll divorce me if I decide to do another Marathon but I'm sure she can't mean it - so watch this space.......
