Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.I am taking part in the Adidas Women’s 5km Challenge inHyde Park. I intend to complete the course with the help of my sister Jackie & friends Gail & Amy.We are raising money for the Herts. MS Therapy Centre (HMSTC), which I attend 3 times a week & would be grateful if you could spare a few minutes to sponsor me. I have been going to the Centre for various therapies including Physiotherapy, Reflexology & Aromatherapy for the last 9 years, which I've found very helpful.
HMSTC is an independent charity, founded in 1983. The running costs are over £200,000 per year & relies totally on donations, so any amount donated is greatly appreciated.
Multiple Sclerosis is a debilitating and unpredictable disease of the nervous system and can affect people in different ways and of different ages. As yet, there is no cure, but treatment makes a huge difference to mobility and limits the progress of MS.
