I DID IT! On the Diamond Jubilee weekend I'm going to be celebrating my very own Golden Jubilee - my Big Five Zero....and on April 21st I marked my milestone and achieved my goal of running 14 miles for the Great Curry Run. It was pretty tough to be honest - very heavy going indeed as most of it was cross country, in the mud, but I got round in one piece and ran all the way.

And here's the big ask: I'D LOVE SOME BIG 5-0- BIRTHDAY PRESENTS, IN THE FORM OF DONATIONS TO THE ABF!!!

Many soldiers serving in Afghanistan will never reach the age of 50, let alone half that age. The 22,090 metres were made up of 10 meters for every soldier killed or wounded in service in Afghanistan as of 31/12/11, which equates to approx 14 miles.
