Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This year I am walking the ABF Walk in memory of Warrant Officer Darren Chant who was killed by a rogue Afghan police officer in November 2009 in Helmand Province. He was 40 and married. He was the father of 3 children, with another child on the way. The day he died he was due to be informed that he had been awarded a commission in the Grenadier Guards as an officer. He sounded to me like a man you would want to work or live alongside. Knowing about him makes walking for ABF for the third year even more important and I hope you might feel able to support me once again.
