The following are the type of things your donation will contribute to: School uniform and shoes for 1 orphaned child £25.00 Medical care for1 child for 1 year £12.00 School lunch for 1 child for 1 year £50.00 1 Ankole dairy cow £100.00 1 young female goat £25.00 1 piglet £15.00 12 x 1 day old chicks and feed for 60 days £15.00 1 beehive, a Queen bee and a colony of honey bees £20.00 Mosquito net for 1 bed to prevent malaria £6.00 25 January 2012   We are in the process of raising the money we intend to use to continue the project that was started 2 years ago for the Education Fund for Luweero Orphans and we’d really appreciate your support. A school was built in 2010 and now we want to further equip the school, start off a training farm for the older children and bring fresh water to the village. We are raising as much as we can to take with us, the more we raise the more we will be able to do when we get there. We have lots of fund raising projects on the go over the next few weeks including a Quiz Night, DJ club night at Jersey Bowl, Car Wash at Ransoms, cake sale and many other things. If you are able to support any of these events or would like to make a donation it will be greatly appreciated by us and even more so by the Orphans of Luweero.      The next fundraising event is by Ashley Ford on 11 February 2012 now at THE LIVE LOUNG Rocksteady presents an EFLO fundraiser with Riva Starr and much, much more! 09 January 2012 Education Fund for Luweero Orphans :  Uganda Project 2012 :  11 people traveling to Luweero on 22 February 2012.  The aim is to assist our hosts in the final stages of getting the Training Centre up and running, Starting the Training Farm Project. Help on Community Projects such as installing mosquito nets, repairing mud huts, children's parties, school visits and any thing else we can lend a hand with.
