Hadrians Wall Trekathon · 23 June 2012

Classic FM is proud to announce its new charity: Make Some Noise – we will help disadvantaged children and young people across the UK. Thanks to your support, we have grown over the years and we will continue to help those affected by illness, disability, bereavement or lack of opportunity.

Story

On Saturday June 23rd I shall be lacing on my walking boots and setting out to try and walk 26 miles beside Hadrian's Wall in 12 hours. The aim is to raise as much money as I can for the work of the Classic FM Foundation to help provide music therapy for vulnerable children in the UK.

Music has always been important to me - but for some it can be a lifeline. For a young child going through the trauma of cancer treatment, for example, music therapy can provide a wonderful relief and a time to laugh, play and communicate with the world around them.

So thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. If you can, please support me by helping me to raise my target of £500.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
