<p>I've finally decided to 'bite the bullet' and signed up for the Annapurna Trek in Nepal.&nbsp; It's something which I've wanted to do for a long time and I'm really excited at the prospect - but at the same time scared at just what sort of challenge I've taken on.&nbsp; I need to really concentrate on my fitness levels as I don't want to be the one everyone is waiting for!&nbsp; One things for sure, it will be the challenge of a life time and if I don't complete it now, I probably never will!&nbsp; As well as the trek we will also be spending time at a community project for local children, which I'm sure will prove to be very interesting.</p> <p>It seems fitting that, having spent almost 20 years of my working life in the Medway Fostering Team, my chosen charity is the Fostering Network, the UK's leading charity for people and professionals involved in fostering.&nbsp; They really are committed to giving foster children the best possible outcomes.&nbsp;</p> <p>Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page - your support and donation are very much appreciated.</p> <p>Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
