<p><strong>Education for all Morocco</strong></p> <p>A<a></a>s they walked through the rural villages on their treck in the High Atlas Mountains last summer, Nick and Gillian were both struck by the challenging daily lives that the women appeared to be living in these rural communities.<br />&nbsp;<br />Very few girls from rural communitities in Morocco continue their education after primary school.&nbsp; The nearest secondary colleges are too far to travel every day from the villages where they live.&nbsp; Their parents are too poor to afford lodgings near to the colleges and the available accommodation is usually over-stretched and often inadequate.<br />&nbsp;<br />Education for all is a Moroccan NGO that is building and running girls' boarding houses near secondary college in the High Atlas Mountains, providing the opportunity for selected girls from villages accross the region to continue their education.&nbsp; The objective of the project is to give girls access to a secondary education and the chance to fulfill their potential in an environment that promotes academic study and social understanding.<br />&nbsp;<br />Nick and Gillian are keen to support this project since they believe that&nbsp;access to education is a gift that every child should have.</p> <p>&nbsp;Thank you for your support</p> <p><span class="grdnt" style="display: none;">&nbsp;</span><a class="lnk_readmore" href="http://www.justgiving.com/Gillian-Holdom#">Close</a></p>
