Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page for the Oxford Sleep Out on Saturday 14th November on behalf of the Oxford Night Shelter.
Well we did it, Alex & I - and about 100
others. We all slept out .... from around half past midnight until just before
3am when the heavy rain fall started and we all made a run for the sanctuary of
St Clements Church!
Although not a real life scenario, the night
brought home to me how lucky I am to get my 7 hours plus of uninterrupted sleep
each night in a warm comfortable bed and not to have to try to catch a few hours
sleep on the cold hard ground or floor.
I've been really touched by all the kind words and
donations I've received and it was good to think of all that support last night.
With your help, by 14th Nov I've raised £430.00 so thank
you very much to all who have made a donation, from me and from the Oxford Night
Shelter.
