We did it!!
Thank you all for your generosity. We finished the Grim 2010 in 1:29:49 coming 1492nd, 1493rd and 1494th out of just over 2,700.
As an experience it was well worth it. Was very cold and the water was chest deep in parts but we got through it (thanks mostly to Simon for pushing us at the end "it's all downhill from here, wind at our backs" - liar)
There were no showers at the end so the people at South Mimms motorway services Burger King had something to look at!
Next year we're doing it in fancy dress apparently. Brilliant.
