We have been supporting the GiraffeProject (http:\\www.giraffeproject.org) for many years. I know the founders Denise & Richard Baines personally as well as the current board and I have been in Nairobi, Kenya in 2012 in person - working for 2 weeks in the Kibera and Mathare slums - to see for myself how large the need is and how GiraffeProject is doing a very good job in providing educational opportunities through sponsorship of children and youth, health support, teacher education  and by building up the Giraffe Education Center. 

i am running the Brussels20km race as a way to raise awareness and funds for this charity now for the 3rd time in a row. My goal this year is to raise 2.000 Euros - which is 100 Euro per km. All the costs for the race, getting there etc. are covered by myself - Your donation goes 100%  directly to this great charity.
