As a team we have set ourselves the challenge of taking part in The Scottish Half Tough Mudder 2016, an obstacle course filled with challenges designed to test your physical and mental grit. (For more information:  www.toughmudder.co.uk)

Our 'Girls-R-Loud' team is made up of close family and friends, Chesca Cassells, Julie Cassells, Kiera Muncie,, Mary Cassells, Maureen Fitzsimmons and Nicola Cassells. We have never taken part in anything like this before and we may not actually know what we are letting ourselves in for, but hey! It's all a bit of fun at the end of the day and it gives us the perfect opportunity to raise awareness and money for two hugely deserving charities which are both very close to our hearts. 

We are hoping to raise as much awareness and money as possible for The Yorkhill Childrens Charity and The Beatson Cancer Charity.

The Beatson Cancer Charity is determined to beat cancer and is  committed to securing significant funding to support and enhance  the treatment, care and wellbeing of current, former and future  cancer patients and their families. Regular donations provide the charity a reliable income to plan their future projects and services and fund their vital work to beat cancer. a small amount each month makes a really big difference to their work. Glasgow has the highest incidence of cancer in Europe, so Scotland needs the Beatson… and they need our support. Every donation, both large and small, makes a huge difference to their work and to the people that they support.
