Giuseppe Morrone is raising money for Shooting Star Children's Hospices
Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am participating in a 100 sponsored cycle ride taking place on the 4th August riding through the streets of London, out to the Surrey Hills and back again.
The ride has been organised by the Mayor of London and will start at the olympic park, riding out as far as Dorking in Surrey and returning back to finish at The Mall. We will have a maximum of 9 hours to complete the course. There will be 20,000 participants and hundreds of thousands of spectators are expected.
A team has been arranged by me and my colleagues at work which I am part of. We are all required to raise money to support our entry and we have been entered through our work supported charity, Shooting Stars, who have been exceptionally accomodating in getting all of us guaranteed places.
As some of you will be aware I had a bit of a shock this time last year due to having a heart attack. Therefore, completing this epic challenge will be a very fulfilling achievement for me given my poor health less than 12 months ago, not to mention raising money for this exceptional charity. I am therefore asking people to give generously and sponsor me in my participation in this fantastic event.
Remember to think of me doing a gruelling 9 hour bike ride while your soaking up the sunshine on your summer holidays!
