A lot of you will have heard me say this before, and will know why I care so passionately. But I've said it before (wewillcycle500milesandwewillcycle500more.wordpress.com), and I'll say it again:

Vasculitis UK is a charity which not only supports individuals, and their families, affected by the disease, but also funds research into the symptoms, causes and treatment of the condition. Put simply, Vasculitis is an autoimmune disease: the body attacks its own blood vessels instead of defending against the infection.

I will be doing the Olympic distance cycle as part of a team of babes (aka Gemma, Jenny and I) in an attempt to #BeatTheBoss (our CEO Paul). If we beat him, he will double his sponsorship. There's a whole crew of crazy TSB people doing this for various causes and he stands to lose a lot. And yes, ok, I can cycle. But fast?! (I will train and not just drink gin I promise...)

And I had sort of hoped I could tone my calves. Unfortunately what I do have is aching calves, tshirt tan lines and oil marks on my carpet.
