People who are deafblind have substantial visual and hearing loss which causes extreme difficulty with communication, information and mobility. We aim to raise aspirations and expand the lives of Deafblind people, some of the least visible and most isolated members of society.

Story

Hello !

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I work as a Guide / Communicator with Deafblind Scotland and I'm doing my bit to to raise money towards building our new Training & Resource Centre for Deafblind people at Lenzie.  We need about £1.4 million and thats going to take a lot of work.  Your help is greatly needed and greatly appreciated.

In August I'm going to walk from Glasgow to Inverness - about 175 miles - using the West Highland Way and the Great Glen Way and I'd like to ask you to sponsor me to help raise funds.

Our organisation provides essential services to people facing the challenge of a severe dual sensory impairment and we need your help to take this onwards.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send you unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

Thanks very much - Andy.
