I love cycling. And I loved my dear old friend of 25 years, Peter Kendall, who was taken away from us suddenly by a major heart attack.

Peter was an Ambulance Officer and proudly served decades of service selflessly treating others and saving countless lives.

Peter not only influenced my career path at an early age, but on a personal note, he introduced me to my now husband Bernard back in 1988. We both miss him greatly.

This cycle ride - my first London to Brighton - is in Peter's honor.
