Thanks for taking the time to visit our Just Giving page. We are raising  money to help fund a life saving solar power project being run by African Steps and Global Sunrise.

In the 8th June we are hitch hiking to Amsterdam. This is liklely to involve one/two days of hitching free lifts from generous strangers all to raise money for charity. We are hitching in teams so that we are more likely to get free lifts! To support a team, please click the donate button and leave a message stating which team you would like to sponsor.

African Steps and Global Sunrise will install solar power at St Peter's Hospital Likoma Island, to prevent the suffering and deaths which are occurring every single day as a result of the current lack of electricity. Solar power will transform the health care at the hospital for the 10,000 people who live on Likoma and for approximately 70,000 people from neighbouring Mozambique and Tanzania, for whom St Peter's is the nearest medical facility.
