Our story

A long time ago our team decided to run a half marathon. We sucessfully managed to put it off for nearly a year until Duncan signed us up when we were all on holiday!!

Unable to procrastinate further, we have taken the challenge and have been training hard.

We have each taken on slightly a diverse selection of training plans based on our own abilities- they range from sticking rigorously to fitness regimes designed by experts to Jimmy and Myles's self designed "red wine training" approach and everything in between.

So far on our endeavours we have: Thrown up (in the middle of a meadow); fainted (in the middle of Fleet Street); pulled a hamstring (in the middle of a leg?); eaten plenty of chocolate to more the compensate for the calories burned; purchased running gear for ourselves and each other roughly double the price of our fundraising target!!

... all in all training is going well!!

In all seriousness, we have chosen to run to for the NSPCC- a great charity that I am sure you have all heard of that does fantastic work for children.

Please do give generously and come and cheer us on on October 11th in Hyde Park (or we will even be running past the Blackfriars office if you happen to be working on a Sunday!).
