Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
During early 2008 I was experiencing severe difficulty in walking.
After receiving Surgeon's advice major surgery was prescribed and my left knee was totally replaced in August and my right knee was totally replaced in December 2008.
I well remember the cutting motions of the saw and the intense smell of burning on the bones!
I even looked at my lower right leg resting upright before re-jointing took place!
I can now walk better than ever and no small thanks is due to WOKING COMMUNITY HOSPITAL, whose Staff, including Sarah, Miriam, Sara-Jane, Simon, Graham and Matthew, with others, all by their efficient, polite and professional care, ensured my complete rehabilitation.
I am celebrating my 70th birthday this year and will be walking up to 50 laps of the Sheerwater Athletics track on Sunday 12 September 2010 between 1pm-5pm.
Do come and walk with me and or sponsor me by however much you can afford to donate.
WOKING COMMUNITY HOSPITAL have helped me so much and now I want to help them.
