343 Night - 9/11 Remembrance · 27 September 2019

Fire Fighters Charity provides care and support to the UK’s fire family. It helps with any health and wellbeing challenges firefighters, control staff, and everyone working in – or retired from – the UK’s fire services, as well as their families, may face - during and after service

Story

Our chairman of the Sudbury Whisky Club Benjamin Chappell. The main focus for fundraising for the The Fire Fighters Charity, was because he lost someone he knew very well due to a large house fire. His treasured memory has remained with our club chairman ever since, It is one of the main reasons we as a club are raising as much needed donations for this incredible local cause. Unfortunately we did not raise as many donations, due to low attendance. So We are asking for just 50p or what ever you can afford to go to a great cause and to support our local hero’s who risk their lives daily to save ours.

Not only did we celebrate America but together we showed our respect to the 343 Firefighters who sadly lost their lives on 9/11. Was a very special night and we would like to say a big thank you to you all for your kind donations and support :)
