Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit Goodman UK JustGiving page.

Goodman UK are supporting the Wooden Spoon charity for 2012.

The Wooden Spoon was founded in the early 1980’s by five rugby enthusiasts and exists to make a positive impact on the lives of disadvantaged children and young people. We at Goodman have teamed up with Wooden Spoon as the main sponsors of their ‘Game On’ programme aimed at using the “power of sport” to provide opportunities for disabled and disadvantaged people.

On 4 – 20 September, 30 people from Goodman will take part in our first 'park to park' UK business park cycle challenge. This involves cycling 700 miles across 14 business parks over 13 days. The challenge will start at Edinburgh and finish at Solent.

Everyone at Goodman is taking part in raising funds for this magnificent cause. And this is where we need your help.  We’re hoping that you will be able to contribute to the challenge by providing a donation to the Wooden Spoon.  We have set a target of raising £6,500 and any donations would be greatly appreciated.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Thank you in advance for your support and generosity.
