The Duke of Edinburgh's Award 3 Peaks Challenge · 15 February 2006

We’re more determined than ever to make sure new generations, especially young people from disadvantaged groups, can discover the power of DofE.

Story

On May 13th, 2006 our team will climb the three highest mountains in the UK - Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon - within 24 hours and raise money for the Duke of Edinburgh's Award.

The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award (http://www.theaward.org/50/) is a programme of leisure-time activities available to all young people aged 14–25. The programme encourages young people to undertake exciting, constructive, challenging and enjoyable activities in their free time. The Award is not a membership scheme, but a well balanced, non-competitive, voluntary programme of activities that can be used by any individual, group, agency or organisation that works with young people.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: The Duke of Edinburgh's Award will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor us now!

Many thanks for your support.
