Forth Rail Bridge abseil 2009 · 11 October 2009 ·

People who are deafblind have substantial visual and hearing loss which causes extreme difficulty with communication, information and mobility. We aim to raise aspirations and expand the lives of Deafblind people, some of the least visible and most isolated members of society.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my page.

For some reason the local authorities have deemed it a good idea to allow me to propel myself down 150ft off the Forth Rail Bridge with nothing but a rope and a plastic helmet for safety. For those who haven't heard, I have signed myself (& also volunteered my cousin Chris) to abseil down the Forth Rail Bridge in aid of Deafblind Scotland, on Sunday 11th October.

Please help me raise as much money as possible. If for no other reason than to see photo's of me and my cousin flapping about hopelessly while we try to get down safely.

Many thanks in advance

Gordon
